Exercise of the Week

Stretching is a very important part of your workout.

You should perform these stretches for 5- 10 minutes before your workout as part of your warm-up and 5-10 minutes after during your cool-down stage .

This helps warm up and loosen your muscles to help prevent injury.

Quadriceps Exercises

 

There are many different exercises that target the quadriceps muscles, located on the front of the leg.  The Vastus Intermedius, Rectus Femois, Vastus Lateralis, and Vastus Medialis make up the quadriceps muscles (see below).
