About our Staff
All of our personal trainers are nationally certified and have obtained their CPR. Our staff includes individuals of varying age, background and interests. They are available with a variety of expertise, educational background and certification. Choose your own trainer based on their expertise, experience and availability or contact Fit Family at (330) 793-4466 to help select a trainer based on your needs and goals. Personal training sessions are available by appointment only. This allows you to work with a trainer who is compatible with you!
Doris Bullock, CPT
Doris graduated from Hiram College with a B.S. in Communications and major in Exercise Science at YSU. She holds certifications in Integrated Fitness Counseling, Group Fitness Instructor, Pilates, and Personal Training. Her certifications are through STOTT PILATES®, RealRyder Cycling, ESA, FITOUR, ISCA, IFTA, NDEITA, ISSA, AFAA. She has various certifications of continuing education in Exercise and Pregnancy, Yoga, Stretch-Flex, Step, Training Senior Adults, Cycling and Aerobics. Doris is also a member of ACSM, AFAA, IDEA Health & Fitness Association and she has over 20 years of experience in field of fitness. John Bullock, Co-ed Hours Staff
John completed his undergraduate in Sociology & Psychology at Youngstown State University. He also received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Hiram. John has over thirty years of experience in Sales, Purchasing and Management. He is certified in RealRyder Cycling, Spinning, Drums Alive, Personal Training and maintains all of the computers at Fit Family.
Elaine Pekarovic, Office Manager & Detox Specialist
Elaine is our Fit Family Office Manager. She is also certified in RealRyder Cycling. She takes upon herself the duty of making everything function correctly within the office area. Elaine takes pride in her work. She assist with operational duties: including distributing material, checking data, creating reports and tracking and monitoring various data.
Ellen Kosa, CPT
Ellen has over 25 years of experience in Exercise Science. She has been through ACE training and is a certified Personal Trainer. She holds certifications through NDEITA, ESA, IDEA, ISCA and AFAA. Ellen is very knowledgeable and specializes in Post-Rehap, Body Sculpturing, Weight Loss and Sports Conditioning. She has the tools to change your body and help you achieve your dreams. Ellen is known for her ability to re-sculpt a person body. She has the techniques and philosophies that will help you turn your life around. Pam Krantz, Certified Group Instructor
Pam attended Youngstown State University and has over 20 years of experience in aerobics and resistance training. She holds numerous certifications in fitness. Pam has the ability to make everyone feel like they have a friend. In Pam’s class she encourages her ladies to get to know each other, by doing so you can always find smiles and laughter coming out of her classes. Pam stated that fun is one of the most important elements in working out. So if you are looking for classes that will make you smile, you can find it with Pam. Pam is known as Mrs. Smiley and her husband is Mr. Honey.
Vic Delligatti, Cycling Instructor
Vic is one of our Fit Family RealRyder Cycling Instructors. Delligatti teaches a great class. Agnes is one of our Fit Family Instructors. She teaches a yoga class on Mondays at 10:00 AM and Cardio/Resistance Class on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM. Agnes classes are really great: for a class that requires no other piece of equipment other than the Kettlebell try her resistances class and for a great gentle yoga class try her yoga stretch class.
Katie Berger, Office Assistant
Katie is retired....not...she is one of the Fit Family desk staff. Mrs. Special Kate is very supportive and takes pride in her work. She assist in the daily operations at Fit Family.
Candy is our Kickboxing Instructor. If you listen to her students on Tuesday nights you will hear "we love Candy." Candy teaches a great kick butt class.
Carol Wick, Desk Staff
Carol is one of the Desk Staff. She is a retired grade school teacher who came to Fit Family after suffering a heart attack. She loves working out and helping the clients.
Sonja Fields, Line Dance Instructor
Sonja teaches the line dancing class on Mondays. She makes her classes simple so that you can learn. She keeps it at a slow pace for beginners and throws in variations to challenge the others that are more advance. Great class.
Ashley Smail, YSU Intern
Ashley has her bachelor degree in Exercise Science and she is married. Ashley works the front desk and is a personal trainer.
Diane works the front desk and greets everyone with a big smile. Her job is make sure that everyone feels at home.
Lori has over 40 years of combined experience in: Gymnastics, Dance, Stott Pilates, & Music Interpretation. She began at the age of 3 in formal dance and acrobats. Lori has 15 years of competitive gymnastics including nationals, regional and state competitions. She has over 40 years of Pilates matt and standing leg workout, dance, lyrical and music interpretation. Lori is also a full time paralegal with a Bachelor's degree in CSIS and Communications. Loris stated, "Pilates works the body as a whole, coordinating the upper and lower musculature with the body's center which dramatically improves strength, flexibility, tone, posture and coordination while mental awareness is heightened as the focus is on the body moving as one cohesive unit working mind and body to its fullest in the least amount of time." "As with any fitness regime, for optimal effectiveness it is recommended at least three - four times per week to see rapid body change, in conjunction with eating proper portions and healthy foods."
