I received great news from my doctor
today and wanted to thank you for everything. My doctor told me due to

I just wanted to give
you an update the test results for my back issues:
The doctor had good news and bad news. The good - I
don't need surgery - because it wouldn't help! The bad - I'm much worse than
I was 3 years ago! BUT, more good - the best thing I can do is strengthen the
muscles in my back. I have arthritis and bone spurs as well as a slightly
bulging disc. Strengthening the muscles will provide better support for my
deteriorating spine. I also have thickening in the ligaments in the spinal
column - comes with age - yea! Stronger muscles will slow down the
thickening. So joining the gym is probably the best medicine I could be
taking. The only limitations are NO pounding in my cardio. Walking and
biking are fine, as is elliptical. But no treadmill and if I want to do
aerobics, it needs to be water aerobics.
So far, the back feels
great - in fact better than when I started. Just thought you might want to
add this to your notes and thought e-mailing the info might be the most
convenient for you.
By the way, I really
feel like I have found a home. I actually watch the clock because I want to
get to the gym. I am stunned that I feel this way, but also thrilled!
