Day Time Class - Instructor Description
Monday 8:30 AM Nice & Easy (Pam) A long-time favorite, this class is great for any fitness level. This low-impact cardio workout offers many high-intensity options and finishes the hour with toning exercises; a fantastic full-body workout.
  12:00 PM Silver Chair (Doris) This class will provide you strength training and cardio.  We work the legs, arms, back, chest, spine, shoulders, wrists, ankles, abs and more...all from the chair.  This is a great class to help you build back your strength and flexibility.
  5:00 PM Line Dance (Sonja) Learn the latest in line dancing: The Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, Cleveland Shuffle, Funky Salsa, and more.
  6:00 PM Butt & Guts (Sandi) Strengthen tone and condition your backside and core! This class targets the gluteal muscles, hamstrings, quadriceps, and inner/outer thighs (also focuses on your abs and lower back.)
  7:00 PM *Pilates Group Reformer & Apparatus (Doris) 40 minutes of a combination of Yoga and Pilates. The class is based on the principle of Pilates and Yoga.  Your instructor will challenge your core strength, stabilization and add various moves to improve flexibility, static strength and body awareness. This class incorporates a varied of Yoga and Pilate moves.
       
Tuesday 10:00 AM Cardio Mix (Pam) Get a GREAT cardio workout with low & moderate impact moves! Burn calories and have lots of FUN. Muscular conditioning segment included.
  11:00 PM Nutrition Education (Jennifer) (Free Class) A Free Class that is open to the public and to Fit Woman & Family members.  This class is taught by a Nutritionist and is offered through Ohio State University.  No membership required: Please RSVP!

  6:30 PM Kick Boxing  (Candy)

Are you ready to sweat?  Mix up your routine with flexibility and strength-building moves in our kickboxing class.  You'll enjoy the high-intensity drills of this cardiovascular workout...consisting of jabs, hooks, uppercuts and kicks.  This class is designed to get you on your way to a learner body and a healthier state of mind.

       
Wednesday 7:30 AM 5K Training (Doris) Helping you to strengthen/train for your 1st 5K race

  7:00 PM *Pilates Group Reformer & Apparatus  (Doris)

The Group Reformer & Apparatus Class requires previous experience on the Reformer (Must have completed at least 4 – 6 private or semi-private sessions as a pre-requisite to taking the classes).  The Class is limited to six (6) people and will be based on all fitness levels.  This class will use the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chairs and various other apparatus.  ***

       
Thursday 10:00 AM Cardio Fun (Pam) Meet your neighbor, sing along, sweat, step and have FUN.

Power Pump (Candy)

An athletic take-on basic heart-pumping aerobics.  It's a great way to get back in that high school sports mind set.  Resistance and interval training are used to give you a 60 minute total body-butt kicking workout!

  7:15 PM

Yogalaties  (Doris)

This class combines yoga and Pilates to improve flexibility, static strength and body awareness. We will be using Hatha.  Hatha is a form of all yoga styles.  It is an easy to learn basic yoga.  This class incorporates meditation, relaxation and a source of stress management.

Saturday 10:00AM ZUMBA (Ellen)

ZUMBA is a combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
